Gixxer lives

The gixxer lives! After 5 weeks of sitting in pieces in my garage, I picked up the final parts from Colorado Powersports in Boulder today. After lowsiding at IMI on June 11th, I've made the following mods:
- Yoshimura Titanium Race Exhaust
- No more troublesome EXCV/EXCVA (exhaust control valve & actuator)
- Galfer Steel Braided Brake Lines
- Front brake lever
- Right bar end (handlebar balancer)
- Lower right fairing
- Front right turn signal
- Vortex No Cut Frame Sliders

The new exhaust actually feels heavier than the stock pipe (also titanium), but it sounds great and the power delivery feels smoother, especially through the previously choppy 3.5-4k RPM range.

Half Dome

On the Summit overlooking Yosemite Valley on Monday. I didn't think I was that close to the edge; must've been delirious from the long hike.

Palm Tungsten E High Pitched Hum

The Palm Tungsten E emits a really annoying high-pitched hum/screen whine. There are quite a few complaints about it on the Web. Palm, will you do anything about it?
